Busy Bees Singapore is looking for an experienced Centre Director to lead centre operations, people, and pedagogical excellence while ensuring high-quality early childhood education aligned with ECDA standards and Busy Bees’ global values.

What You’ll Do
Lead & Inspire
  • Build and lead a high-performing, values-driven team
  • Drive manpower planning, performance management, coaching, and retention
  • Champion professional, inclusive, and child-centred leadership
Centre Operations & Governance
  • Oversee centre operations, governance, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure full compliance with ECDA licensing and regulatory requirements
  • Manage operational budgets, risks, and resources effectively
  • Maintain a safe, well-managed, high-quality learning environment
Drive Quality & Curriculum Excellence
  • Provide pedagogical leadership to ensure strong teaching and learning practices
  • Lead curriculum planning, implementation, and review in line with ECDA frameworks
  • Enhance child outcomes, parent experience, and service quality
  • Champion best practices in health, safety, nutrition, and hygiene
Engage Stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with families, staff, and community partners
  • Represent the centre professionally in external engagements
  • Lead family and community initiatives that strengthen centre reputation

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications -
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • Diploma in Early Childhood – Leadership and Teaching (must have - recognised by Early Childhood Development Agency - Singapore)

Pre-requisites
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant leadership experience in the early childhood sector
  • Strong working knowledge of ECDA regulatory requirements, licensing standards and quality frameworks
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Working knowledge of centre financial performance management, including revenue optimisation, manpower cost planning and operating expense control
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant digital tools
