Responsibilities

  • Manage audit engagements from planning through completion, deliver high‑quality audits using data‑driven digital methodologies
  • Drive audit quality and leverage technology‑enabled audit approaches
  • Prepare and review financial statements, interpret outputs from audit and analytics tools
  • Apply data analytics to analyze complete populations of financial and operational data, identify anomalies, trends, and risk areas to sharpen audit focus
  • Translate data and system outputs into clear, practical audit insights for clients and stakeholders
  • Leverage digital platforms to extract and analyse large datasets, ensuring robust audit testing and efficient procedures
  • Deliver training on audit methodologies and digital platforms to strengthen team capability, while mentoring junior team members to support their development
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and team members, manage stakeholder expectations effectively
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving audit quality and operational efficiency

Qualifications & requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in statutory audit, preferably within a professional services firm
  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Hold a recognised accounting qualification such as Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification (SCAQ), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ)
  • Knowledge and exposure to IFRS and ISA and ability to apply standards effectively in complex audit environments is preferred
  • Proven ability to identify audit risks and insights from data patterns
  • Hands‑on experience with audit software, data extraction tools, Microsoft applications and platforms (e.g., Inflo), with the ability to integrate these tools into audit processes
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver audits efficiently and effectively
  • Commitment to continuous technical development, with emphasis on audit technology, data analytics, and innovation
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex audit findings clearly to clients and stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Collaborative mindset, able to thrive in a team oriented, fast paced environment
