Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Scope:

A Sales Engineer in the machine vision industry is responsible for understanding

customer needs and recommending suitable vision solutions, including cameras, lighting,

and software. They support pre-sales activities like demos and proposals, drive sales and

business development, coordinate with technical teams for project execution, and provide

after-sales support. They also stay updated on industry trends and maintain strong client

relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance good rapport and business relationship with existing
  • Customers.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Project management (managing pilots, coordinating delivery timelines).
  • Follow up and develop business opportunities for new leads.
  • Understand market trends and customer requirements to co-develop sales
  • strategies with the Business Development Manager.
  • Coordinate projects with the Project Manager and relevant key personnel.
  • Attend supplier collaborations and strategies regarding latest applications and
  • technology development.
  • Ability to perform product demonstrations and trials
  • Marketing Duties: Liaise with suppliers on new product introductions.

Job Requirement:

  • Diploma / Degree qualification in any Engineering field.
  • Independent and positive
  • Good team working and communicating skills, both verbal and written
  • Analytical and good problem-solving skills
  • Able to handle stress and projects.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Offices
