Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time position, on-site role based in East of Singapore (Pasir Ris), supporting the day-to-day operations of the club. This role assists in managing membership sales, conducting club tours, and providing excellent service to current and prospective members.


The Assistant Manager helps manage staff scheduling, daily opening and closing procedures, and ensures the club remains clean, safe, and welcoming. Responsibilities include supporting local marketing initiatives, coordinating with personal trainers and coaches, and helping organize member events and engagement activities. The role also involves handling member inquiries and administration, resolving issues promptly, tracking key performance metrics, and working closely with the Club Manager to achieve membership, revenue, and member satisfaction goals.


Qualifications

  • Strong customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills to engage members and prospects effectively.
  • Experience in sales, membership or subscription-based services, and basic marketing or outreach activities.
  • Operational skills, including organizing schedules, following procedures, and maintaining a clean, safe facility environment.
  • Team leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to support, motivate, and coordinate staff in a fast-paced setting.
  • Interest in health, fitness, and wellness, with the ability to model and promote an active, healthy lifestyle.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools and club management systems (e.g., CRM, scheduling or billing software); proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace is an advantage.
  • Ability to work a 5.5 schedule, including some evenings, and holidays as required by club operations or events.
  • Prior experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or service-focused environments is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Diploma or degree in business, sports science, hospitality, or a related field is an advantage; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Current brand ambassadors or gym sales executive with at least 3 years of experience who wants to level up are recommended to apply.
