Job Description

We are seeking a mission-driven Data Analyst for our Active Ageing Centre setting to transform raw program data into actionable insights that empower seniors to live healthier, more connected lives. You will bridge the gap between frontline community work and data-driven decision-making by evaluating the impact of active ageing programs and services on senior well-being.Key Responsibilities

  • Impact Evaluation & Outcome Measurement: Design and implement data collection frameworks to measure the effectiveness of active ageing programs and services
  • Data Management & Integrity: Build and maintain secure databases tracking senior participation, KPIs, health indicators, and feedback, ensuring strict adherence to personal data privacy laws.
  • Trend Analysis & Reporting: Analyze complex datasets to identify trends in senior engagement, predict service demand, and uncover areas for program/service improvement.
  • Visual Storytelling: Develop interactive dashboards (e.g., using Tableau or Power BI) to present clear, digestible performance metrics to internal stakeholders, policymakers, and funding partners.
  • Operational Optimization: Work closely with program management, quality management and community researcher to streamline workflows, optimize resource allocation, and identify gaps in community outreach, seniors engagement.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in data analytics, social science research, or public health data evaluation. (Experience in the social or healthcare sector is highly advantageous).
  • Strong command of data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards using platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences (e.g., internal staff, senior beneficiaries, and volunteers).
  • Passion for eldercare, active ageing, and the non-profit sector. High patience, emotional intelligence, and respect for the senior demographic.
