Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Penang, Malaysia, for an Account Executive. The Account Executive will oversee financial reporting, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, facilitating audits, analyzing financial data, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to support business functions. Collaboration with team members to provide client services and handle taxation matters is also a key part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Accounting and Financial Reporting, including financial analysis and budget management
• Skills in Taxation and Regulatory Compliance
• Experience with Company Incorporation and Secretarial Practices
• Ability to manage Accounts Payable and Receivable efficiently
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with accounting software and systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are an advantage
• Ability to work effectively on-site as part of a collaborative team
• Previous experience in consultancy or professional services is a plus
