Supply Chain Solution Expert

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Solution Expert to design and implement innovative logistics and supply chain solutions that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, warehouse design expertise, and the ability to translate customer requirements into practical and commercially viable logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Warehouse Planning

• Design end-to-end supply chain, warehousing, and fulfilment solutions based on customer operational requirements.
• Develop warehouse layouts, storage configurations, process flows, and manpower planning to optimize efficiency and space utilization.
• Recommend suitable automation technologies, equipment utilization, and system integrations to improve productivity and scalability.
• Conduct operational simulations, feasibility studies, and solution assessments to ensure practicality and cost-effectiveness.

Data Analysis & Operational Improvement

• Analyze shipment trends, SKU profiles, inventory turnover, order patterns, and operational workflows.
• Identify process inefficiencies, operational bottlenecks, and cost-saving opportunities through data-driven analysis.
• Prepare analytical reports, operational dashboards, and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and logistics operations.

Customer Consultation & Pre-Sales Support

• Act as the subject matter expert during customer meetings, solution workshops, and sales presentations.
• Understand customer challenges and transform business requirements into customized logistics solutions.
• Present complex supply chain concepts in a clear, concise, and value-driven manner.
• Support the Sales Team with solution proposals, technical presentations, and commercial discussions.

Costing & Commercial Modelling

• Develop operational costing models, pricing structures, and profitability analyses.
• Prepare detailed resource plans, budget estimations, and P&L projections.
• Ensure solutions are commercially competitive while maintaining operational sustainability and profitability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to validate assumptions and align operational capabilities.

Project Implementation & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Operations, IT, Engineering, and other internal departments to ensure successful solution implementation.
• Monitor project progress, system readiness, SOP development, and operational go-live activities.
• Ensure implemented solutions meet agreed KPIs, SLAs, and customer expectations.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and recommend optimization opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in 3PL, Supply Chain Consulting, Warehouse Operations/Management, or Logistics Solution Design.
• Experience in e-commerce fulfilment, contract logistics, automation projects, or regional/cross-border logistics operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation management, inventory control, and supply chain optimization.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to understand customer business requirements and translate them into practical operational solutions.
• Good command of both English and Mandarin to support communication with Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders.

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Logistics Solution Design: 3 years (Preferred)
• 3PL, Supply Chain Consulting, Warehouse Operations: 3 years (Required)
• e-commerce fulfilment, contract logistics: 3 years (Preferred)
• Automation projects, warehouse operations: 3 years (Preferred)
