Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Construction / Main Contractor

Contract Manager / Project Director

• Study tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents

• Prepare quantity take-off and cost estimation

• Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

• Analyze subcontractor pricing and prepare comparison reports

• Assist in tender submission and budgeting

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) when required

• Prepare monthly progress claims to clients

• Evaluate and certify subcontractor claims

• Monitor project costs and cash flow

• Prepare variation order (VO) claims and supporting documents

• Track project budget versus actual cost

• Handle final account submission and negotiation

• Maintain records of site instructions, variations, and contractual correspondence

• Review construction contracts and subcontract agreements

• Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions

• Identify contractual risks and commercial issues

• Attend project meetings with consultants, clients, and subcontractors

• Assist in dispute resolution and claim negotiations
