1.       JOB SUMMARY

• The IT Manager is responsible for planning, managing and overseeing the Club's information technology infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, digital initiatives and IT support services to ensure reliable, secure and efficient operations that support the Club's strategic and operational objectives.

• Ensuring continuous availability and integration of all Club operational systems including membership, finance, F&B, golf operations, security and communications infrastructure.

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Oversees the operations of IT Department:

• Ensure system and data integrity.

• Maintain adequatespare parts and peripherals supplies of IT equipment.

• Maintain System servers and network for smooth operation.

• Maintain network peripherals to ensure smooth operation.

• Maintain Club broadband and WIFI system for administrative and members use.

• Supervise IT administration.

• Provide first line support for hardware and application software.

• Co-ordinate and supervise contacts with outside agents and contractors.

In co-operation with the user department heads, maximize the benefits of the information technology for operational efficiencies.

• Ensure full and smooth implementation of existing systems.

• Plan and supervise implementation of new systems.

• Design, plan and implement computer-based procedures towards improving work flow in user departments.

Ensure the management information produced is timely and useful.

• Streamline information flow between user departments.

• Minimise manual collections, compilation and presentation of data.

• Minimise paper flow.

Improve user proficiency in application of software and peripherals.

• Provide in-house application training for all users.

• Co-ordinate external training for all users.

• Provide first level trouble-shooting training for user departments to become self-sufficient with basic systems diagnosis, resolving system issues and related routines.

Cybersecurity.

• Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures.

• Monitor and mitigate cybersecurity risks.

• Ensure compliance with applicable data protection and privacy requirements.

• Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and security reviews.

• Manage user access controls and password policies.

Business Continuity.

• Develop and maintain IT disaster recovery and backup procedures.

• Ensure critical systems and data can be restored within acceptable recovery time objectives.

• Periodically test backup and recovery processes.

Vendor Management.

• Manage IT vendors, consultants and service providers.

• Evaluate vendor performance and service level compliance.

• Negotiate maintenance agreements and support contracts.

• Monitor software licensing compliance.

Financial Management.

• Prepare and manage the annual IT budget.

• Evaluate IT investments and procurement proposals,

• Monitor IT operating and capital expenditure.

IT Projects.

• Lead IT projects from planning to implementation.

• Prepare business requirements and project proposals.

• Coordinate stakeholders and vendors.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

3.       ANY OTHER ASSIGNMENT

 To perform other duties assigned by the superiors from time to time.

4.       QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Educational qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information systems or related disciplines.

• Professional Certifications (Advantage): ITIL, Microsoft Certified, Cisco Certified, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

5.       Relevant experience:

• At least 7 years’ working experience in the related field, including a minimum of three years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

• Highly resourceful with strong report writing and communication skills.
