Responsibilities
Job Responsible:
Accounting & Financial Management
· Maintain accurate general ledger, journal entries, and trial balances.
· Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
· Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and cash management.
· Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
· Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
Budgeting & Forecasting
· Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
· Analyze budget vs. actual performance and highlight variances.
· Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
Compliance & Audit
· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, income tax, etc.
· Coordinate internal and statutory audits and implement audit recommendations.
· Maintain proper documentation for financial records and transactions.
Reporting & MIS
· Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, expense reports, and financial analysis.
· Track KPIs such as receivable turnover, payable aging, and expense trends.
· Provide insights to management for operational and strategic decision-making.
Process Improvement
· Streamline accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
· Implement internal controls to prevent errors and fraud.
· Recommend automation opportunities in accounting and reporting processes.
Team Leadership
· Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
· Assign work, monitor performance, and ensure accountability.
· Conduct periodic training on accounting standards, compliance, and software usage.
Qualification & Experience
· Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting or ACCA, or MBA (Finance) or related field.
· 8+ years of experience in finance and accounts or related management roles.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
· Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
