Responsibilities
lSystem Analysis: Evaluate existing hospital information systems (HIS, EMR, LIS, PACS) for performance, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and administrators to translate healthcare needs into technical specifications.
System Design & Implementation: Develop or enhance modules for patient registration, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, and medical records.
Data Security & Compliance: Ensure patient data confidentiality (HIPAA, PDPA Malaysia) and manage access controls.
Testing & Validation: Conduct system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features.
Training & Support: Provide training to hospital staff and ongoing technical support.
Documentation: Maintain manuals, workflows, and system change logs.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend upgrades.
