Hiring! Full Time Quantity Surveyor in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

Job responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-off, Bill of Quantities (BQ), cost breakdowns, and pricing for tenders and projects.

• Request, review, and compare quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers for tendering purposes.

• Prepare and compile all necessary tender submission documents within the given timeline.

• Prepare variation orders (VO), ensuring accurate submission and timely approval.

• Handle final claims and statements of account for both clients and sub-contractors.

• Conduct design calculations and prepare technical drawings as required.

• Involved in the preparation of tender BQ, tender documentation, project costing, and contract administration.

• Check and verify claims submitted by sub-contractors, and negotiate pricing when necessary.

• Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors, clients, consultants, and the internal project team.

• Monitor and follow up on site progress with the project team.

• Perform any other tasks or assignments as assigned by management.

Job requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with up to 3 years of working experience in quantity surveying or contract roles will have an added advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Computer literate with strong documentation and coordination skills.

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.

• Able to start immediately is preferred.
