Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to work alongside our sales team and ensure a smooth, efficient, and seamless sales process. This role is created to handle administrative and operational aspects of sales, allowing our sales team to focus on hunting new opportunities and closing deals. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-oriented, and fitting in a dynamic, customer focus environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support & Coordination

• Support sales personnel throughout the entire sales cycle, from client meetings, presentations, price check, sourcing, and showroom hosting to delivery of goods/services and after-sales support.

• Assist in the preparation and issuance of purchase orders, invoices, delivery orders, and other documentation as part of the sales process.

• Follow up on sales status, including payments, production, shipment, and delivery updates, schedule, liaising with both internal teams and external clients.

• Maintain accurate inventory/stock availability records of furniture products.

• Ensure sales team has sufficient sales tools and kits, including price lists, catalogues, proposals, material samples, and other resources.

• Report and update project status regularly to the sales team and maintain accurate records on the CRM system.

• To overall monitor and track office sample product in and out. (specifically, Furniture and Okamura Charger)

• To handle customer claims including lodging to production, follow up and update to salesperson and/or client.

Customer Relationship & Service

• Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients, contractors, and designers/architects, vendor, production team, etc

• Handle basic customer claims and complaints, escalating complex cases to the sales team when necessary.

• Proactively follow up with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and explore potential upsell opportunities.

Collaboration & Sales Enablement

• Work closely with sales personnel to drive overall sales performance and achieve targets.

• Support sales team in ad-hoc tasks as needed, including events, exhibitions, and social networking initiatives.

• Study and gain knowledge of Okamura products to provide accurate information and support.

Future Career Opportunities:

• At least Diploma qualification from recognized institution.

• Prefer few years of sales related experience.
