About the role

Puncak Tegap Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support Officer to join our team in Hulu Selangor, Selangor. As an IT Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and troubleshooting support to our employees, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

• Respond to and resolve user requests and inquiries related to hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and effective manner

• Diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of IT-related problems, identifying and implementing appropriate solutions

• Provide basic training and guidance to employees on the use of company software and equipment

• Maintain and update the IT support documentation, including user guides and knowledge base articles

• Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing the overall efficiency of the IT support function

• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of all IT equipment, including computers, printers, and network devices

• Assist with the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software as required

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role, preferably in a similar industry

• Strong technical skills and knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users

• Familiarity with common office productivity software, such as Microsoft Office suite

• Problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve IT-related issues

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient IT support

• Certification in CompTIA A+ or equivalent is preferred
