About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join YS DIGITAL SDN BHD in Arau, Perlis. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in overseeing and optimising our repair used phone operations. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, managing resources effectively, and driving continuous improvement across all operational functions. This role is integral to achieving our organisational objectives and maintaining our competitive edge in the industry.

Key responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage daily operational activities across several repair/services teams.

2. Develop and implement operational strategies and best practices to enhance productivity, quality and cost-effectiveness

3. Inventory Management to oversee the procurement of spare parts (screens, batteries, charging ports and other) while minimizing dead stock and ensuring OEM or high-quality third-party part availability.

4. Monitor operational metrics and KPIs, analyse performance data and prepare regular reports for senior management

5. Manage budgets, control costs and optimise resource allocation across operational departments

What we're looking for

1. 3+ years of experience in operations management within the repair used phone sector

2. Proven track record of successfully managing teams and achieving operational targets

3. Strong knowledge of supply chain management, lean principles and process optimisation

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decision

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

6. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs whilst maintaining quality standards

7. Knowledge of repair phone.

8. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and demonstrate strong leadership under pressur
