Responsibilities
At Eats365, we're on the ground with our merchants and so are you. As a Technical Support Specialist, you'll be the person our merchants rely on when they need their systems installed, optimised, and running flawlessly. This role is based in Johor Bahru with regular travel to Singapore, giving you exposure across two dynamic markets.
You'll be enabling businesses. Every installation, every troubleshooting call, and every recommendation you make directly helps a restaurant owner focus on their food and their guests.
No two restaurants are the same, and neither are your days. You'll bring your hardware and software expertise to each unique situation, thinking on your feet and delivering solutions that work.
• Install, configure, and maintain network and POS hardware including routers, switches, printers, and other peripherals across restaurant sites in JB, surrounding areas, and Singapore
• Be the go-to troubleshooter for merchants experiencing network or POS issues, diagnosing problems quickly and delivering solutions with confidence
• Act as a trusted advisor, sharing best practices and recommendations on hardware setup, network configuration, and system optimisation
• Deliver 2nd-level software and hardware support, occassionally beyond office hours and on weekends when our merchants need it most
• Collaborate with the Customer Success and Sales teams to ensure every merchant's onboarding experience is seamless and stress-free
• Document technical issues, solutions, and configurations clearly contributing to a growing knowledge base that helps the whole team
• Share field insights with the Product and Tech teams to help us continuously improve our solutions
What You'll Need• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in IT, networking, or technical support
• A tech-savvy, problem-solving mindset—you’re resourceful, methodical, and energised by a good challenge
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin-- you can explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
• A proactive and self-driven attitude--you take ownership and follow through
• Willingness to travel regularly to Singapore and work across the JB region, with flexibility to support merchants outside standard office hours
• A collaborative spirit--you work well with a team and contribute to a culture of shared success
