Esync Software Services Hiring! Full Time Software Engineer (Mobile) in Federal Territory, Earn up to MYR 7,200 - Ricebowl

We are seeking a skilled Android Software Engineer with 2 – 5 years of hands-on-experience in native mobile application development using Kotlin and/or Java. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining Android applications with strong emphasis on performance, scalability, maintainability and clean architecture.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

(Duties and Responsibilities / Key Result Areas)

1. Application Development & Delivery

• Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into clean and efficient code.
• Implement new features and enhance existing functionalities based on product roadmap.
• Ensure application performance, quality and responsiveness.
• On-time features delivery with minimal defect leakage.

2. Architecture & Technical Design

• Apply modern Android architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and modular design principles to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reusability.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party SDKs efficiently while ensuring data security and performance optimization.
• Implement local storage solutions (SQLite) and data caching strategies
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize memory usage, reduce ANR/crash rates, and ensure smooth application behaviour across different Android devices and OS versions.

3. Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform unit tests, debugging and root cause analysis, participate in peer code reviews, and ensure high test coverage and minimal production defects.

4. Maintenance

• Monitor post-release performance metrics, resolve production issues promptly, and propose technical enhancements to improve system stability and scalability.

JOB REQUIRMENTS / SPECIFICATIONS

(Academic Achievements, Work Exposures, Skills Required, Personal Characters)

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline with strong foundation in OOP, data structures, and software engineering principles.

2. 2 – 5 years of hand-on mobile application development experience, with at least 2 years focused on Kotlin and/or Java.

3. Strong command of Kotlin and/or Java with solid understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio.

4. Technical Stack: Proficiency in RESTful APIs and JSON, experience with version control (Git)

5. Experience implementing MVVM or Clean Architecture, and working with Android Jetpack components.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM7,200.00 per month
