Job Summary
The Content Creator is responsible for creating short-form video content, proposing creative content ideas, supporting social media content planning, and editing videos for the company’s branding, marketing campaigns, promotions, events, and daily online presence.This role mainly focuses on video editing, content direction, content ideas, storytelling, trend research, and short video production using tools such as CapCut or other relevant video editing software.The position is suitable for candidates who are creative, trend-aware, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to turn marketing direction, product highlights, and company activities into engaging video content.
Responsibilities
1. Video Editing & Short-Form Content Production
- Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, XiaoHongShu, WeChat, or other relevant platforms.
- Prepare video cuts, subtitles, transitions, music, effects, hooks, and basic storytelling flow.
- Ensure video content is clear, engaging, brand-appropriate, and suitable for each platform.
- Revise video content based on feedback from the person in charge or management.
2. Content Ideas & Creative Planning
- Propose creative video ideas for campaigns, promotions, products, events, and company branding.
- Research social media trends, competitor content, viral formats, customer interests, and suitable video styles.
- Suggest content angles, storylines, scripts, hooks, captions, and shooting concepts.
- Support the team in turning marketing direction into practical and attractive video content.
3. Video Shooting & Content Material Collection
- Assist in shooting product videos, event highlights, customer interaction content, behind-the-scenes content, and daily operation content.
- Collect video materials, photos, customer feedback, product highlights, and operation updates for content use.
- Coordinate with internal teams to arrange shooting needs, locations, products, and timing.
- Ensure all raw footage and content materials are saved and organized properly.
4. Social Media Content Support
- Prepare captions, hashtags, thumbnails, posting materials, and basic content schedules when required.
- Support social media content arrangement and platform updates according to marketing plans.
- Ensure content follows the company’s tone, branding direction, and marketing objective.
- Monitor content performance feedback and suggest improvements for future videos.
5. Campaign, Event & Brand Support
- Support product launches, outlet openings, roadshows, exhibitions, influencer visits, festive campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Prepare video content before, during, and after events or campaigns when required.
- Assist in improving video quality, content consistency, and brand presentation.
- Complete assigned content tasks within deadlines and update progress to the person in charge.
Requirements
- Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Media, Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Creative Arts, Broadcasting, or related field.
- Fresh graduates with a strong video/content portfolio are welcome to apply.
- Experience in video editing, content creation, social media, short video production, photography, or branding will be an advantage.
- Able to use CapCut or other relevant video editing software.
- Familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, XiaoHongShu, WeChat, or other social media platforms.
- Able to propose content ideas, video angles, hooks, captions, and simple storylines.
- Creative, responsible, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to meet deadlines.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and support shooting or content tasks when required.
- Able to work on weekends, public holidays, or events when required by operations or campaigns.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
