Tugas dan Tanggungjawab

• Mengendalikan dan menyelenggara lori dengan mematuhi semua peraturan lalu lintas dan keperluan keselamatan
• Mengangkut bahan binaan, peralatan dan barang ke tapak yang ditetapkan.
• Menjalankan pemeriksaan kenderaan pra-perjalanan dan selepas perjalanan untuk memastikan lori dalam keadaan berfungsi dengan baik.
• Memuat dan memunggah kargo dengan selamat, memastikan keselamatan dan pengagihan berat yang betul
• Berkomunikasi secara berkesan dengan penyelia tapak, pengurus projek dan pasukan penghantaran
• Mematuhi semua peraturan kesihatan, keselamatan dan alam sekitar semasa mengendalikan kenderaan
• Laporkan sebarang kecacatan kenderaan atau isu penyelenggaraan dengan segera kepada pihak pengurusan

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain lorries in compliance with all traffic regulations and safety requirements
• Transport construction materials, equipment and goods to designated sites.
• Conduct pre-journey and post-journey vehicle inspections to ensure the lorry is in proper working condition.
• Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, project managers and dispatch teams
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations whilst operating vehicles
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly to management

What we're looking for

• Valid Class 2 or equivalent driving licence with a clean driving record
• Minimum 3 years' professional experience as a lorry or heavy vehicle driver
• Ability to load, unload and secure cargo safely and effectively
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks
• Experience in construction logistics is highly desirable
