Responsibilities
General
o Reads the logbook daily and take action accordingly.
o Provides information regarding the hotel’s facilities & services.
o Ensures to always be informed of VIP in-house and daily functions.
o Handles guest complaints in accordance with service recovery guidelines.
Bell Desk
o Greets and addresses guests by name.
o Performs room changes in an efficient and helpful manner and in accordance with the hotel’s standards.
o Thanks every guest when they depart.
o Takes messages.
o Locates guests.
o Properly records incoming/outgoing luggage and deliver with care and promptly within 15 minutes upon the guest’s arrival.
o Delivers newspapers as per hotel policy.
o Delivers messages, faxes or other mail to the room.
o Valet parks cars if the service is provided by the hotel.
o Opens car doors and assists guests.
o Works together with Security to control the flow of traffic at the lobby entrance and driveway area.
o Checks daily arrival list.
o Answer sand transfer incoming calls in accordance with hotel standards.
o Keep the luggage storeroom tidy and clean.
o Calls for taxis whenever guests request and assist by telling the taxi driver where to go whenever necessary.
o Accepts baggage that guest may wish to keep in storage, issue claim ticket and record in log accordingly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
