Responsibilities:

Database Administrator:

Oracle/MSSQL Database Administrator L3.

1.      Handling of Oracle (19c) databases along with RAC, Data Guard.

2.      Configuration, Installation, Upgrade, Migration of Oracle databases.

3.      Restoring UAT environment from Production using RMAN & EXPDP/IMPDP.

4.      Performance tuning of Oracle database as well as SQL queries.

5.      Oracle patching (Quarterly, On-off, bug fix etc.)

6.      Configuration and resolving issues related to Data Guard.

7.      Physical standby, logical standby and snapshot standby issue handling and configuration and monitoring.

8.      Audit configuration and maintenance.

9.      DR drill and disaster recovery.

10.  Understanding of PDB/CDB.

MSSQL Database Administrator (L1/L2).

1.      MSSQL configuration, upgrade, patching.

2.      MSSQL database tuning and maintenance.

3.      Understanding of Mirroring, Always-On, Clustering etc. and monitoring.

4.      Restoring production data into UAT using various methods (Database level, table level etc.)

5.      DR drill and disaster recovery experience.

MYSQL Database Administrator(L1)

1.      MySQL database configuration, upgrade and maintenance.

2.      Monitoring long running queries, slow logs, master-slave replication etc.

3.      Configuration of Master-slave setup.

MongoDB Administrator(l1)

1.      Configuration and monitoring of MongoDB.

2.      Understanding basic administration.

Positive mindset of learning and experimenting with other databases (Postgres, Cloud (AWS,Azure,OCI) as well when required.

Requirements:

·        At least 5-6 years of experience as Oracle DBA/MSSQL DBA, 1-2 years as MYSQL DBA and understanding of Mongodb .

·        Knowledge of SQL queries and basic understanding of Shell Scripting (Linux) as well as batch/PowerShell scripting.

·        Understanding of Linux commands.

Good to have:

• Certification in Oracle/OCI or any cloud services.
