Job Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and optimize laser spot welding equipment and processes.
• Monitor welding parameters and ensure product quality meets specifications.
• Perform process troubleshooting and root cause analysis for welding-related issues.
• Conduct equipment maintenance, calibration, and process verification activities.
• Support production activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports, work instructions, and process documentation as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related field) for Engineer position; Technical Certificate or Diploma for Technician position.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in laser spot welding processes.
• Familiar with laser welding equipment, welding parameters, and quality inspection methods.
• Experience in precision manufacturing, electronics, automotive, medical device, or related industries is an added advantage.
• Able to troubleshoot process and equipment issues independently.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with laser welding process development and optimization.
• Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with automation systems and manufacturing process control.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
