As a Senior Server Analyst, you will be responsible for providing first- and second-level support for servers and backup systems, including troubleshooting, installation, upgrades, maintenance, and performance monitoring to ensure optimal uptime and system efficiency.

What You'll Do:

· Provide L1/L2 support for VMware, Windows Server (2003–2025), Hyper-V, and backup systems, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing permanent fixes

· Install, configure, and maintain systems such as VMware ESXi, vCenter, Windows, and Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu).

· Perform regular backup checks and support basic SAN storage operations

· Monitor system performance, conduct health checks, patching, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal uptime and capacity

· Work on security-related incident tickets, provide the investigation findings and preventive action when required

· Support disaster recovery planning and testing

· Suggest improvements and provide reporting with recommendations under guidance.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

· Candidate possess at least with Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any other IT related field.

· Has at least 1 year of experience in server related support operations.

· Hands-on first-level and partially second-level support of VMware, ESXi, vCenter, Windows, Hyper-V in a Distributed Enterprise Environment.

· Basic understanding of Backup and restore, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Server Monitoring and Server hardware environment will be an added advantage.

· Have a keen interest in new technology and self-exploring IT infrastructure.

· Have basic knowledge about AI (Artificial Intelligence)

· Candidate with the ability to communicate and write in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin will be an added advantage (support our client or vendor base in Indonesia and China).

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per hour
