Job Title: Production Technician

Department: Production
Reports To: Production Supervisor / Production Engineer

Job Summary

The Production Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. The role ensures products are produced according to quality standards, safety procedures, and production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Perform machine setup, adjustment, and basic troubleshooting during production.
• Ensure production output meets the required quality standards and production targets.
• Conduct routine inspection of products during the manufacturing process.
• Record production data, machine performance, and process parameters.
• Report any machine abnormalities, defects, or production issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic machine cleaning.
• Ensure proper handling of raw materials and finished goods.
• Follow safety procedures, company policies, and 5S practices in the production area.
• Assist engineers or supervisors in process improvement and equipment testing when required.
• Maintain proper housekeeping in the production line.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Certificate in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in manufacturing or production environment (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Basic knowledge of production machines and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical documents.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to work shift schedule, overtime, or weekend when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in automated production lines or manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of quality control and safety standards.
• Familiar with basic maintenance and machine troubleshooting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
