Responsibilities
About the Role
Turn large‑scale ad log data into growth strategies. Own end‑to‑end analytics, pipeline reliability, and performance modeling to drive bidding efficiency and ROI. Work directly with engineering, product, and commercial teams.
What We're Looking For
This is not a BI/reporting role. We need someone who can write production PySpark, manage GCP Dataproc jobs, and control cloud costs.
Finance, e‑commerce, logistics, or any data‑intensive industry is fine — as long as you have hands‑on Spark + GCP scheduling experience.
What You'll Do
Analyze bid requests, win rate, latency, and conversion funnels
Own A/B testing for bidding algorithms and product features
Build/maintain reliable data pipelines on GCP (Dataproc, Airflow)
Develop scripts for automation, anomaly detection, and feature extraction
Build dashboards and define KPIs for global teams
Requirements
Must‑Have
Advanced SQL on large‑scale log data
Production Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
PySpark for ETL and performance tuning
GCP Dataproc (serverless + cluster modes) and cost control (idle session cleanup, job management)
Strong Plus
Airflow on GCP Composer
Basic ML (feature engineering, predictive modeling, uplift)
Understanding of ad metrics: bid request, win rate, eCPM, ROI, etc.
Nice to Have
5+ years analytics experience
Programmatic advertising (DSP/ADX/RTB) experience
Soft Skills
Self‑starter: comfortable with ambiguity, debugs independently, learns new GCP tools proactively
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Data Science, Statistics, Math, or quantitative field
