We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise

in PHP to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in backend

development, particularly in building and maintaining secure, scalable systems. Experience

with Java is a strong advantage. This role involves leading development efforts, mentoring junior

engineers, and contributing to the architecture of our payment gateway platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure PHP-based

applications.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

• Leverage Java experience where applicable to enhance system integration and performance.

Technical Leadership:

• Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and technical support.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.

System Architecture:

• Contribute to the design and architecture of backend systems, ensuring reliability and

security.

• Analyze existing systems and identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Quality Assurance:

• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, reliability, and security.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and configurations.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, especially in online payments

and data security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on PHP

backend systems.

• Experience in payment gateway development is highly desirable.

• Exposure to Java and ability to contribute to Java-based systems is an advantage.

• Proven track record of leading development projects and mentoring junior developers.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in PHP and related frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).

• Experience with Java, Spring Framework, or Hibernate is a plus.

• Strong understanding of database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a bonus.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
