Job Responsibilities

• Monitor all Purchase Requisitions (PR) and request quotations from local and overseas vendors.
• Negotiate for the best pricing and payment terms while maintaining top quality, reliability, and service standards.
• Handle daily purchasing operations — planning, issuing, recording, and following up on Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery and smooth production flow.
• Manage procurement of direct and indirect materials as required by the company.
• Conduct vendor sourcing, selection, and annual performance evaluations to maintain a reliable supplier base.
• Support new project developments by sourcing suitable materials and suppliers.
• Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues promptly with suppliers.
• Maintain ISO-related documentation, including approved vendor lists, vendor assessments, and purchasing records.
• Liaise closely with internal department such as QA/QC, Production, and Accounts departments for coordination and process improvement.
• Ensure suppliers provide all required documentation (e.g., Halal certificates, product specs, process flow charts) in compliance with regulatory and ISO standards.
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Preferably with at least 2 years’ of relevant experience in a Nutrition or Nutraceuticals company.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Meticulous, proactive, and resourceful, with strong teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
