To supervise, monitor, and coordinate all Civil & Structural (C&S) works related to the construction of aquatic pool facilities, ensuring that works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities1. Construction Supervision
- Supervise daily Civil & Structural construction activities at the aquatic pool project site.
- Ensure all works comply with approved construction drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and relevant standards.
- Monitor contractor performance, workmanship quality, and construction progress.
- Verify setting-out works and construction methods prior to commencement.
2. Quality Control & Assurance
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
- Witness testing and inspection activities for concrete works, waterproofing systems, structural elements, and pool-related infrastructure.
- Review and verify material submissions, method statements, and inspection reports.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented for non-conformance issues.
3. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, authorities, and stakeholders.
- Attend site meetings and technical coordination meetings.
- Resolve site technical issues and provide engineering recommendations.
- Facilitate communication among project team members.
4. Progress Monitoring
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules.
- Identify potential delays and recommend mitigation measures.
- Prepare progress reports and update project management on site activities.
- Verify contractors' work completion claims.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, site diaries, and correspondence.
- Review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submissions.
- Prepare monthly progress reports and engineering assessments.
- Ensure proper document control and record keeping.
6. Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Ensure all construction activities comply with site safety requirements and regulations.
- Coordinate with Site Safety Supervisor and contractors on safety matters.
- Report unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Monitor environmental control measures during construction activities.
7. Aquatic Pool Specific Responsibilities
- Supervise pool structure construction, including reinforced concrete works.
- Monitor waterproofing installation and testing activities.
- Inspect pool filtration rooms, balance tanks, surge tanks, and associated structures.
- Coordinate installation interfaces between structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with aquatic facility design requirements and operational standards.
Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
