Job Title: Town Planner

We are seeking a responsible, proactive, and committed individual to join our team as a Town Planner.

Job Responsibilities

i. Exercise all reasonable skill, care, and diligence in the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities.

ii. Carry out responsibilities in accordance with recognised professional standards consistent with qualifications, training, experience, and professional capacity.

iii. Promote and safeguard the interests, reputation, and goodwill of the Company at all times.

iv. Comply with the Company’s policies, procedures, lawful instructions, and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

v. Ensure compliance with the laws and regulations of Malaysia and any other country where assignments or projects may be undertaken.

vi. Prepare, coordinate, and submit planning proposals, reports, and related documents to relevant authorities and agencies.

vii. Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, local authorities, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project implementation.

viii. Assist in development planning, land use studies, planning approvals, and project feasibility studies.

ix. Attend meetings, technical discussions, authority submissions, and site visits as required.

x. Monitor project progress, submission status, and ensure compliance with planning requirements and timelines.

xi. Coordinate with environmental, engineering, and technical teams for integrated project development.

xii. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Town Planning / Urban & Regional Planning or related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Working experience in planning consultancy or related field will be an added advantage
• Good communication, coordination, and report writing skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiar with planning procedures and authority submissions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge in AutoCAD or GIS software will be an advantage
• Possess own transport and willing to travel when required
