Responsibilities

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in safety and security management.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
  • Prior experience in law enforcement, security operations or surveillance systems is highly advantageous.
  • Possession of OSH Coordinator certification or other relevant safety certifications will be an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and supervise the security team to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers, employees and company assets.
  • Coordinate patrol schedules and security operations, including monitoring surveillance systems, inspecting premises, equipment and access points and managing entry control procedures.
  • Prevent losses and security breaches by identifying irregularities, enforcing company policies and handling trespassing or unauthorized access incidents.
  • Manage traffic control operations by directing and coordinating vehicle and pedestrian flow within the premises.
  • Prepare accurate incident and activity reports by documenting observations, security occurrences, surveillance findings and conducting witness interviews when required.
  • Ensure effective monitoring of building systems and security equipment, maintaining a safe and controlled environment at all times.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations, including distress calls, alarms and incidents involving disruptive or unauthorized individuals.
  • Maintain organizational stability and reputation by ensuring professionalism, discipline and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of security equipment by ensuring preventive maintenance, adherence to SOPs and timely reporting of faults and repair needs.
  • Supervise outsourced security personnel to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards.
  • Contribute to overall team effectiveness by supporting additional duties and related operational requirements as needed.
  • Develop, implement and maintain workplace health and safety policies and procedures at site level.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits and site inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations and standards.
  • Plan and conduct safety training, inductions and awareness programs to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and accidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities such as JKKP/DOSH, Bomba, Jabatan Kesihatan, CIDB and others to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated on developments in safety management practices, technologies and regulations and implement best practices where applicable.
  • Develop and implement Emergency Response Plans (ERP) based on site-specific risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE), facility management and energy management standards and practices.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
