Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be involved in:
Event Coordination:
Upon confirmation from the client, plan a detailed function sheet.
Strategize the ordering of food, beverage, and operational items, including selecting catering utensils and equipment for the event.
Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to facilitate event setup.
Conduct post-event inventory management and update the balance stock for future events.
Event Set-Up and Clearing:
Assist in setting up and clearing event spaces, ensuring tables, catering utensils, equipment, and other necessary items are arranged according to event specifications and client preferences.
Food and Beverage Service:
Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner. Monitor and replenish food and beverage stations as needed.
Customer Service:
Interact with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Event Coordination:
Collaborate with team members and event coordinators to execute seamless events. Follow event timelines and schedules to ensure timely service.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
Keep event spaces, serving areas, and kitchen facilities clean and organized. Assist in post-event cleanup to return the venue to its original condition.
Adherence to Policies and Procedures:
Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Adhere to food handling and sanitation standards.
Cash Handling (if applicable):
Handle cash transactions accurately and securely. Provide receipts and maintain a record of transactions.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure all catering and event equipment is well-maintained; report any malfunctions promptly. Assist in the storage and inventory of event supplies and equipment.
Adaptability:
Adapt to last-minute changes and unforeseen challenges during events. Stay flexible to accommodate client preferences and requests.
Professional Development:
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Uniform Compliance:
Adhere to dress code requirements and maintain a neat and professional appearance.
Budget Awareness:
Be mindful of budget constraints and work efficiently to maximize resources.
