JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking an AI Implementation Specialist to drive technical implementation of AI solutions across Watsons Malaysia. The role will focus on configuring, integrating, testing, and supporting AI solutions within business applications, data workflows, and digital platforms, while ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and effectively adopted by users.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • AI Opportunities Assessment: Translate business problems into AI opportunity statements, solution requirements, and use-case proposals. Prioritize opportunities based on business impact, feasibility, data readiness, risk, effort, and adoption potential.
  • AI Solution Implementation: Lead the deployment, configuration, integration, testing and rollout of AI tools or third-party AI modules into internal business applications, workflows and customer facing platform where applicable.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Identify repetitive tasks, workflow bottlenecks and customer or employee journey friction points then propose AI-enabled improvements.
  • Requirement, Data Readiness & Governance Support: Document business and data requirements, coordinate secure data access with relevant IT and data owners, and ensure AI solutions are aligned with privacy, compliance, and governance requirements when connecting cross-departmental or customer data with AI platforms.
  • Proof of Concept & Pilot Management: Develop prototypes, proof-of-concepts and pilot initiatives; collect feedback from users, measure outcomes and recommend whether to scale, refine or discontinue solutions.
  • Team Enablement: Prepare user guides, training materials, communication plans and adoption support to help employees understand and effectively use AI dashboard, assistances and tools.
  • AI Adoption & Change Management: Drive adoption of AI solutions across business units, ensuring effective usage, measurable business value, and integration into daily operations.


JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in business analysis, digital transformation, , AI implementation, process improvement, automation, or related roles.
  • Business Analysis & Problem Solving: Able to understand user workflows, identify pain points, document requirements, and translate business challenges into practical AI use cases.
  • AI-Assisted Development ("Vibe Coding") & Prototyping: Proven experience using generative AI tools or low-code/no-code platforms to prototype workflows, dashboard, build, and deploy enterprise solutions.
  • Advanced Prompt Engineering: Ability to write clear, structured, and context-rich prompts, refine AI outputs through feedback, and apply LLMs to support business analysis, documentation, workflow improvement, and simple automation tasks.
  • Integration & APIs: Familiarity with API, webhooks, LLMs and middleware tools to seamlessly connect frontend storefronts with backend enterprise systems.
  • Database & Queries: Ability to understand data sources, data quality issues, reporting requirements, and basic SQL or database concepts to support AI readiness and insight generation.
  • Scripting & Automation: Practical Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Power Automate or similar tools is an advantage for validating ideas and automating simple business daily tasks.
  • Evaluation & Governance: Ability to test AI outputs, review accuracy, identify risks and support responsible AI practices to meet enterprise security and customer privacy standards.
