Company Description Universal Food Feed Sdn. Bhd. (UFF) is a Malaysia-based agricultural commodity trading and brokerage company supplying premium food ingredients like Soybean Products, Palm Oil Products, Molasses , Frozen Edamame and others.

UFF was founded by industry professionals with deep expertise in international trade, finance, and strategic development. The business is positioned to offer personalized, high-touch service that larger commodity traders often cannot provide. UFF collaborates closely with procurement managers, food manufacturers, and trading firms to source the right products at competitive prices, with reliable documentation and logistics.


Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive / Trader role based in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.


The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities in agricultural commodities. The Business Development Executive / Trader will manage the end-to-end trading cycle: prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing proposals, negotiating terms, closing deals, and coordinating with internal teams on order execution, logistics, and documentation.


The position includes building and maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and trading partners, as well as monitoring market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to inform trading and sales strategies. The role also requires regular reporting on pipeline, sales performance, and market developments, while collaborating with management to support growth initiatives in existing and new markets.


What you'll do:


Expand existing international business

Develop new business opportunities in Malaysia

Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers

Manage end-to-end business lifecycle from sales to shipment execution and trade documentation

Coordinate with logistics, inspection agencies, suppliers and customers



Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years working experiences, good communication skill
  • Good communication skill
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proactive, target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin, other foreign language is an advantage.


Good to have:

  • Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with experience building and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Experience in digital marketing or social media marketing
  • General business acumen, including understanding of trading, pricing, margins, and basic commercial risk management.
  • Experience in commodity trading, food ingredients, or related B2B sectors is highly advantageous.
