Job Summary

You will remove, apply,and repair ceramic tiles and similar solid materials on floors, walls, andceilings. You will prepare surfaces, mix and apply adhesives and cements, laybricks or blocks, and install safety features to ensure durable and safefinishes.

Responsibilities

·                    Remove ceramic tiles and similar materials fromfloors, walls, and ceilings safely and efficiently

·                    Apply and repair ceramic tiles and similar solidmaterials to floors, walls, and ceilings to meet quality standards

·                    Follow materials and workmanship schedules toensure timely and accurate completion of tasks

·                    Lay bricks or blocks accurately to build or repairstructures

·                    Mix and apply glues, cements, and grouts to bondmaterials securely

·                    Prepare cement floors, sidewalks, stairs, andcurbing to create stable, level surfaces

·                    Install grout for new and existing door jambs toensure proper sealing and finish

·                    Apply non-skid surfaces and safety strips toenhance floor safety

·                    Prepare flooring surfaces thoroughly for the installationof floor coverings

·                    Prepare and mix different types of raw materials toproduce plaster ready for application

·                    Hang pictures, paper towel holders, sharpsdispensers, and soap dispensers securely on walls

·                    Make repairs to plaster, sheetrock, and masonrysurfaces in preparation for painting

·                    Repair plaster and lay bricks and blocks tomaintain structural integrity

·                    Remove waste and debris daily and arrange forremoval upon completion of work to maintain a clean and safe work environment
