KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design & Drafting Software: Mastery of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max for creating precise 2D floor plans, elevation drawings, and 3D renderings.
• Technical Documentation: The ability to produce detailed construction drawings, electrical layout plans, plumbing schematics, and custom carpentry detailing.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations: Familiarity with local authority guidelines (such as HDB renovation rules, BCA codes, or FSSD fire safety regulations) to ensure the designs are legally compliant.
• Project Management & Budgeting: Experience in sourcing materials, procuring furniture/fixtures, managing timelines, and keeping costs within a strict budget.
• Material & Furniture Knowledge: A deep understanding of material durability, textile performance, lighting design, and ergonomics (how humans interact comfortably with space).
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Proven ability to coordinate with main contractors, electricians, plumbers, and carpenters to ensure the design is executed accurately on-site.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Arts or related field
