Job Description

Responsibilities

SALT is looking to hire a Program Manager to lead the AI transformation work across the APAC Policy team. This role will be responsible for identifying and implementing AI solutions to drive productivity, enhance decision-making processes, and enable our teams to focus on high-priority work.

What you’ll do :

  • Drive end-to-end formation of AI-powered tools and workflows for APAC Policy teams, from requirements gathering through launch and adoption
  • Own program roadmaps, milestones, and dependencies; proactively identify and resolve blockers
  • Translate non-technical team needs into clear technical specifications and product requirements
  • Coordinate across global AI4P engineering, product, and regional policy stakeholders
  • Prototype, build, and iterate on AI workflows and integrations
  • Create, review, and land diffs to build out new features, fix bugs.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI/LLM capabilities into policy workflows (prompt engineering, agent design, tool orchestration)
  • Debug and improve existing AI tools based on user feedback and performance data

What you’ll need:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in technical program management, with demonstrated ability to drive complex, cross-functional programs from formation through delivery
  • Proficiency in Python (or similar); comfortable reading, writing, and shipping code in a production environment
  • Experience creating and landing code changes in a collaborative engineering workflow
  • Hands-on experience with AI/LLM tools — including prompt engineering, workflow automation, or building on top of LLM APIs
  • Strong product sense: ability to translate ambiguous user needs into structured requirements and actionable roadmaps
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Track record of driving adoption and behaviour change across distributed teams
