Summary
The Digital Manager is responsible for initiating and organizing digital performance and strategy deliverables and metric-based outcomes. Coordinate and execute digital performance projects. Collaborates with strategy, creative, and technology teams. The candidate is expected to be comfortable with ambiguity and able to orchestrate order within a highly creative environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Well versed with the digital landscape and be able to constantly innovate to propose breakthrough digital activation ideas based on client’s campaign briefs. New formats and ideas will be the key drivers in this space.
- Select, guide, and ensure on-going professional development of team.
- Ensure team members are trained in and follow the agency’s standard operating procedures, and quality standards established.
- Build the team’s digital capability to support the delivery of the agency’s strategy
- Assist business units and teams with their digital requirements around the agency
- Advise, counsel, and arbitrate expense account problems, unusual expenses/requests, and billing mark-downs.
- Advise on technology, content, and manage quality of digital tools
- Establish governance/guidelines for all digital activity to ensure they are of the highest standard
- Provide advice on measuring the impact of digital initiatives on customer satisfaction
- Maintain excellent client relationships, seize opportunities for cross selling and upselling internal offerings
- Drive new business acquisitions and pitches
- Oversee project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
- Guide team in estimating timelines, budgets and allocate resources on a per-project basis
- Work with the Tech team to establish the tool set required to deliver the digital roadmap
- An eye for detail and be competent in managing our service providers and partners to ensure quality and timely delivery of digital activation projects.
- Able to gauge and improve digital deliverable efficiencies and develop vendor relationships.
- Any additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience with a digital agency environment
- A strong knowledge of best practices in digital planning
- Ability to lead team effectively
- Effective negotiation and conflict management skills
- Ability to see big picture while managing minute details
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Confident and able to handle situation professionally
