As a Sales Manager, you will act as a subject matter authority for nVent Data Solutions offerings, including liquid cooling, enclosures, and power distribution, supporting sales, partnerships, and business development activities.


  • Partner with the Sales Leader to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies to achieve regional revenue and growth targets.
  • Drive business expansion across Singapore and Malaysia by identifying new opportunities, key accounts, and strategic partners.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to find opportunities and potential risks.
  • Develop and implement pivotal initiativeses for the Data Solutions vertical in Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Provide timely market intelligence and customer feedback to internal partners to support product development and positioning.
  • Maintain strong communication with leadership on key developments, risks, and decisions requiring customer concern.
  • Ensure Salesforce (SFDC) is consistently updated with accurate customer data, sales activities, and pipeline visibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, operations) to deliver tailored customer solutions.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as the need arises to support business objectives.


YOU HAVE:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Ideally, 5+ years of experience in the Data Solutions / Data Center industry
  • Background in Data Solutions, with exposure to liquid cooling, power distribution, or cabling infrastructure, is preferred
  • Proven track record with an established client base and strong industry network across Singapore and Malaysia (e.g., hyperscale’s, colocation providers, contractors, consultants).
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel and take on a regional scope as the business expands.
  • Strong customer orientation with a focus on long-term relationship building.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Good time management and ability to manage a balanced sales pipeline.
  • Proactive, dedicated, and able to take ownership with minimal direction.
  • Customer-focused, demonstrating skill in building trust and establishing long-term relationships.
