• Design, develop, and maintain application systems for internal and external system integration
• Develop and maintain backend systems using Python and/or Java
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for system-to-system data exchange
• Integrate with third-party systems via APIs (customers, logistics partners, vendors, etc.)
• Develop, maintain, and support EDI communication and data transmission processes
• Design, develop, and optimize relational databases and SQL queries
• Perform system analysis, requirement evaluation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Prepare technical documentation and support system testing and production deployment

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language:
• Python and/or Java
• Strong experience with relational databases, including:
• Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• Oracle
• MySQL
• Hands-on experience in RESTful API development and integration
• Familiarity with API communication standards (HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, XML, Flat, AS2.)
• Experience or understanding of EDI communication protocols and data exchange workflows
• Solid SQL skills, including query writing and performance tuning
