Job Description

Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable products
  • Provide accurate product information — specs, pricing, warranty and promotions
  • Achieve individual and branch monthly sales target
  • Handle customer objections professionally and close sales effectively
  • Process sales transactions accurately via POS system

Product Knowledge

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all products — laptops, desktops, peripherals and accessories
  • Attend brand training sessions (HP, Acer, ASUS, MSI, Lenovo etc.)
  • Advise customers on best value product based on budget and usage requirement
  • Upsell and cross-sell accessories, warranty extension and software bundles

Display & Merchandising

  • Ensure showroom display is neat, properly labelled with correct pricing at all times
  • Arrange and maintain product display according to planogram guideline
  • Ensure demo units are in working condition and powered on during operating hours
  • Assist in new product setup and display changes

After Sales & Customer Relations

  • Handle basic customer complaints and escalate to superior when necessary
  • Assist customers with warranty claims, product exchange and repair submission
  • Follow up with customers on repair/service status
  • Build rapport with repeat customers to drive loyalty and referrals

Administrative & Reporting

  • Prepare daily sales report and submit to branch supervisor
  • Assist in stock count and branch stock take exercise
  • Monitor own sales performance against monthly target
  • Support branch operations — opening, closing and housekeeping duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent — Diploma preferred
  • Fresh graduates and candidates with no experience welcome — on job training provided
  • Outgoing, friendly personality with strong communication skills
  • Passion for technology and IT products is a strong advantage
  • Able to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays
  • Bilingual — Bahasa Malaysia and English, Mandarin is a plus
