Senior Web Developer Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required

We are seeking a self-driven and technically proficient Senior Web Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong independent thinking, is capable of digesting and understanding existing codebases with minimal guidance, and possesses a solid foundation in business logic and system design.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain high-quality code for new features and system enhancements based on project requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve bugs effectively and systematically.
• Refactor existing code to improve readability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Write unit tests for new and existing modules to ensure code quality and system reliability.
• Document code changes, new features, and bug fixes accurately in the internal documentation system.
• Assist with application deployments to staging and production environments, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
• Maintain clean, well-commented, and properly organized code to support ease of maintenance and team collaboration.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing code reviews and sharing technical best practices.

Requirements

• Malaysian citizen.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage.
• Minimum 4 years of professional web development experience.
• Proficient in ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core development frameworks.
• Strong understanding of business logic and the ability to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Independent and self-motivated — able to analyse and digest existing codebases with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support junior team members in day-to-day development activities.
• Solid command of SQL for query writing and database operations.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor) to accelerate coding productivity is a strong advantage.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
