Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for an Inventory Clerk at Cheval Oil and Gas. The Inventory Clerk will monitor and record inventory levels, process shipping and receiving documentation, and verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include updating digital inventory systems, performing regular physical inventory checks with on-site teams, investigating discrepancies, and preparing inventory reports for supervisors or management. The role will coordinate with operations, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely replenishment of stock and proper documentation for all transactions. The Inventory Clerk will also help maintain standardized procedures, support audits, and contribute to continuous improvement of inventory control processes.
Qualifications
- Strong inventory operations skills, including Inventory Control and Physical Inventory, with the ability to reconcile counts and resolve discrepancies.
- Experience with Shipping & Receiving processes, including tracking shipments, preparing documentation, and coordinating with carriers or warehouse staff.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with remote and on-site teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Solid Computer Literacy, including proficiency with spreadsheets, inventory or ERP systems, and basic data entry and reporting.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a remote environment.
- Prior experience in inventory, logistics, supply chain, or a related field; experience in oil and gas or industrial environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, follow standardized procedures, and maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or coursework in supply chain, logistics, or business is a plus.
