- Lead daily morning briefings to communicate operational plans, updates, and key issues
- Resolve departmental and operational challenges to ensure smooth workflow
- Facilitate communication between management and frontline staff
- Plan and allocate manpower based on operational requirements
- Assign daily tasks and monitor workforce productivity
- Enforce discipline and resolve manpower-related issues
- Oversee receiving and stock handling activities in compliance with SOPs
- Validate accuracy of incoming goods documentation
- Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent discrepancies or damage
- Manage inventory accuracy, stock levels, and stock control policies
- Align stock levels with demand forecasts and maintain buffer stock
- Monitor stock movement through cycle counts and audits
- Approve finished goods declarations and coordinate customer communication when required
- Ensure accurate and timely FG confirmation before release or distribution
- Enforce FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principles across warehouse operations
- Support product quality preservation and reduce inventory waste
- Lead stock take activities and ensure accuracy and timely completion
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
- Monitor warehouse performance and KPI reporting
- Review FG reports and propose process improvement initiatives
- Plan and coordinate delivery operations to ensure on-time dispatch
- Resolve delivery issues and ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Prepare and maintain operational reports and documentation (e.g., transfer reports)
- Ensure accuracy of records for tracking and audit purposes
- Implement and sustain 5S practices (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas
- Handle customer and stakeholder communication, including complaints and feedback
- Maintain strong professional relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct training on safety, equipment handling, and system usage
- Support team development and improve operational competency
- Support internal and external audits (ISO, IATF, safety, compliance)
- Drive corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement
- Promote workplace safety and participate in safety committee initiatives
- Identify and report hazards to ensure a safe working environment
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Logistic/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- At least 5-6 year(s) of working experience in production control environment.
- Willing to work in Klang.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
