Books For A Better World Sdn. Bhd. (BFBW) is a for-profit social enterprise founded in 2022 with a mission to promote literacy and reduce book waste. We operate multiple second-hand bookstores and book corners across the Klang Valley, run community literacy programmes, partner with ADUNs and organisations like Kiwanis Club, and maintain donation boxes for used books. Every book sold or donated helps build a more literate and sustainable community.

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Executive, Operations to lead the end-to-end logistics and operational execution that keep our bookstores supplied and our outreach activities running smoothly.

What you'll actually do

• Drive books around the Klang Valley. A lot. More than you'd expect.
• Pack, sort, label, load, unload, repeat. Think of it as a gym membership, but productive.
• Set up pop-up booths and book fairs — lifting shelves, arranging books, pretending it's easy.
• Work closely with the Founder to keep operations tight and costs low.
• Handle whatever chaos the day throws at you without losing your chill.

You are probably a fit if…

• You have a valid driving license and aren't scared of Klang Valley traffic.
• You have at least SPM and general knowledge. (Knowing what a book is helps.)
• You're organised, reliable, and don't need to be chased to give updates.
• You genuinely care about literacy and community. Or at least books. Either works.
• You're a nice person. We check for this.
• No prior experience in book logistics required. We'll teach you. You just need to show up, be dependable, and not complain when there are 200 boxes to move on a Monday morning.

This is a full-time role based in the Klang Valley. You will be working directly with the Founder in a dynamic, mission-driven environment where your operational excellence directly contributes to community literacy.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
