Pet Assistant – Job Summary

The Pet Assistant is responsible for providing daily care and support to pets, ensuring their health, safety, comfort, and overall well-being. Duties include feeding pets, assisting with grooming and bathing, maintaining clean and hygienic living areas, monitoring pet behaviour, and supporting daily pet care operations.

The ideal candidate is reliable, patient, hardworking, and has a genuine love for animals. A positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to handle pets with care and compassion are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feed and provide fresh water to pets according to scheduled routines.
• Assist with pet grooming, bathing, and basic hygiene care.
• Clean and sanitize pet enclosures, daycare areas, and equipment.
• Monitor pets for signs of illness, stress, or unusual behaviour and report concerns.
• Supervise pets during playtime, exercise, and social activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all pets.
• Support customer service by updating pet owners on their pets' well-being when required.
• Assist with pet transportation, check-in, and check-out procedures when needed.

Requirements:

• Passion for animals
• Responsible, trustworthy, and punctual.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and comfortable handling dogs and cats of different sizes.
• Previous pet care experience is an advantage but not required.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
