Key Responsibilities

• Machine Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic faults in production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks according to the master plan to ensure equipment longevity and prevent unexpected failures.
• Corrective Maintenance: Respond immediately to machine breakdowns on the production floor and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
• Machine Setup & Changeover: Assist in setting up machines and adjusting parameters for different product runs or new production batches.
• Spare Parts Management: Monitor the inventory of critical spare parts and inform the supervisor when replenishment is needed to avoid delays during repairs.
• Technical Reporting: Document all maintenance activities, parts used, and repair durations in the daily maintenance log or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all machinery is fitted with appropriate safety guards and operate in compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health) standards.
• Process Improvement: Suggest and implement minor technical modifications to machinery to improve cycle times or reduce rejection rates.
• General Duties: Any other duties assigned by the Management as and when deemed necessary.

Job Requirements

1. Education

• Minimum Certificate (SKM) or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

2. Working Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates with strong internship experience in maintenance are also considered.

3. Technical Skills & Tools Proficiency

• Technical Reading: Ability to read technical drawings, electrical schematics, and pneumatic diagrams accurately.
• Tools Handling: Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments (e.g., Vernier calipers, multimeters).

4. Core Skills

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking with a proactive attitude toward diagnosing and resolving machine faults.
• Resilience: Ability to work efficiently under pressure during urgent machine breakdowns.

5. Other Requirements

• Shift Work: Willingness to work on rotating shifts and perform overtime when required to support production schedules.

Pay: RM3,600.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
