Job Description

• Support commissioning, setup, calibration, and qualification of die tester machines and related optical/semiconductor test systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and technical diagnosis of electrical, mechanical, software, instrumentation, and test performance issues.
• Collaborate with design, software, application, and production teams to resolve machine issues during assembly, integration, FAT, SAT, installation, and post-installation support.
• Conduct test validation, performance verification, and debugging activities to ensure machine stability, accuracy, repeatability, and compliance with specifications.
• Develop and optimize test procedures, machine setup parameters, operating instructions, and technical documentation.
• Analyze machine failures and test issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide customer technical support, including machine application support, troubleshooting, and issue follow-up.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers on problem resolution, technical clarifications, and engineering changes.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) when required.
• Maintain proper documentation of machine issues, debugging results, corrective actions, and validation records.
• Support training for internal teams and customers on machine operation, setup, and basic troubleshooting.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in product engineering, test engineering, application engineering, equipment engineering, or machine support.
• Hands-on experience with commissioning, setup, troubleshooting, or sustaining support for automated test equipment, semiconductor equipment, optical test systems, or precision machines.
• Experience diagnosing machine issues involving electrical control systems, sensors, motion systems, instrumentation, software integration, and test performance.
• Experience in customer-facing technical support, machine qualification, FAT, SAT, or field support is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel for machine installation, commissioning, and customer support when required.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
