Job Description:

We are looking for a sharp, tech-savvy Senior Business Analyst to act as the vital bridge between our corporate clients, product management, and our engineering teams. Unlike traditional business analysts, you will deeply understand software architecture and data models, allowing you to translate high-level business requirements into precise, unambiguous technical specifications. You will own the requirement lifecycle, drive system design discussions, and ensure that our technical deliveries perfectly match strategic business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Elicitation: Conduct deep-dive workshops with stakeholders to extract, analyze, and synthesize business requirements into clear, actionable scopes.
• Technical Documentation: Author high-quality Functional Specification Documents (FSD), System Requirement Specifications (SRS), User Stories, and Use Cases with exceptional clarity.
• System Modeling: Create comprehensive technical diagrams including Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERD), Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and Unified Modeling Language (UML) workflows to guide the development team.
• Product Wireframing: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create low-to-mid fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma or similar tools.
• Sprint Management: Own the product backlog refinement in an Agile/Scrum environment, prioritizing tasks via Jira and documenting technical workflows in Confluence.
• UAT & Delivery: Define User Acceptance Testing (UAT) criteria, lead UAT sessions with clients, and validate that the engineered solution matches the agreed-upon specification.

Requirements:

• MALAYSIAN ONLY
• Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Psychology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields, with 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in the IT/Software industry.
• Technical Literacy: Strong foundational knowledge of software engineering principles, databases (SQL fundamentals), and modern web/mobile architectures. Ability to read API documentation is highly preferred.
• Tools Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Figma, and diagramming tools (************* / Lucidchart).
• Frameworks: Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, and ITIL service workflows.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding stakeholders management skills, sharp analytical thinking, corporate presentation capabilities, and native/fluent English proficiency.

Working Location: Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya

Salary: Starting from RM3500 and above (negotiable)

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
