Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with experience in Liferay Portal to develop

and maintain enterprise web applications. The successful candidate will be responsible

for system development, application integration, and customization of Liferay modules

to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using Java
• Customize and manage Liferay Portal components (portlets, themes, hooks)
• Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to gather system requirements
• Perform debugging, testing, and system performance enhancement
• Support deployment activities and troubleshoot technical issues
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Java development
• At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Liferay
• Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring Framework
• Experience with Liferay DXP / Community Edition
• Good knowledge of SQL (MySQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with OSGi / Liferay Service Builder
• Familiar with Git / version control systems
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Basic knowledge of Docker / containerization

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
