About the role

As the Front Office Manager at Starus Hotel Bukit Bintang, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel's front desk and guest services. This full-time position is located in the beautiful Kuala Lumpur, Changkat Bukit Bintang, offering you the opportunity to work in a stunning environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for maintaining & developing efficient front office operations through planning, organizing, staffing, executing and controlling the functions of the department in line with the highest level of performance and quality standard of hotel is expected.
  • To establish systems, policies and procedures for each respective function of the many sections in the Front Office.
  • To be responsible for maintaining maximizing the rooms revenue through strategic planning and allocations of rooms.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front office, including reception, concierge, and guest relations
  • Manage and schedule the front office team to ensure excellent customer service is maintained at all times
  • Respond to guest inquiries and complaints, and work to resolve any issues promptly and effectively
  • Monitor and manage room inventory, reservations, and guest check-in/check-out procedures
  • Analyse front office performance data and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Participate in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar front office management role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Proficient in using hotel management software and other relevant technology
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • A passionate and proactive approach to ensuring a high-quality guest experience
  • Familiarity with the local tourism industry and trends in the Kuala lumpur region would be an advantage

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
